Looking for an incredible bottle of vino or satisfy your craving for artisanal pizza? You can find both at Knead Wine in downtown Middleburg, Virginia.
Part boutique wine shop, part pizzeria, Knead opened its doors in August 2020. It’s the brainchild of Jarad Slipp, a master sommelier, chef, and former RdV Vineyards estate manager, who saw an opportunity for a casual pizza and wine shop in the area. The other half of this top notch team is Knead’s Hospitality Director, Allie Nault, who also works as a sommelier at The Inn at Little Washington.
Knead’s expertly curated bottle offerings from around the world are organized into one wall of $20 wines, another wall of $45 selections, and an additional selection of currently featured wines. In mid-October, these features included a selection of bubbly bottles at a variety of price points and a showcase of Oregon wines. Staff are knowledgeable and more than happy to help you find just the bottle you’re looking for.
The 12-inch oven-fired pizzas are each named after famous guitarists and prices range from $16-$20 per pie. They’re currently available for takeaway, and online ordering is available at www.kneadwine.com.
Knead Wine is located at 5 W. Washington St., Middleburg, VA 20117. Current shop hours are Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11am-8pm, and Friday & Saturday from 11am–9pm. You can contact Knead Wine at firstname.lastname@example.org or (540) 687-5150.
